Nice day spent with friends

mashfanficchick asking did I want to help them out for awhile and then have dinner and watch the Mets opening game on her TV? Yes, I did! So that was my day. First we ate lunch at Panera, then we went to Stop and Shop and shopped, then we worked at her mother's house for awhile, and then she cooked dinner on the grill and we brought it to her apartment and ate watching the game. Which we lost, *sigh* though we almost caught up so it did get a bit exciting. So anyway, a good day.
Did I even mention yesterday that I heard from the FWiB's brother? Not much more news than before, but at last an address and phone number where I can try to reach him. I shall try tomorrow, I think. Or try to try, with my fear of phone calls it won't be easy. But I will try.
