Busy free day

silver_chipmunkStarted out early for a free day in case the inspectors from last week came round while I was here. Which they didn't.
At 1:45 I went over o College Point to make my 2:30 appointment to have my taxes done. I had to call my investments guy and have him fax over some paperwork which I either lost without knowing it or else, which I think, never received. But my taxe are done and filed and I feel good about that.
Then I went across the street and got my face waxed. It's looking much better now.
Then I took the 65 bus back into Flushing, and my old friend the 15 into Whitestone to go to the vet's and get Bjorn's special food. And then back home.
A little time to relax and then into the Bronx to eat dinner at Boston Market and go to my meting. Which went very well.
And now almost time to go to bed.
I called the FWiB's nursing home, twice, gathered my courage for it, but didn't get thrugh to him which is frustrating. I will keep trying though.
Gratitude List:
1. My meetings and the people there.
2. Friends.
3. My tax preparer.
4. My vet's.
5. NYC mass transit that allowed me to get all these places.
6. nice weather for my running around.
