There's no way it would be as much improved today as it is if it were. It's still a little swollen, still a little painful to touch and bend, but the improvement is amazing. So maybe I sprained it? I don't know. In any case it doesn't look like I'll be seeing a doctor for it after all. Go figure.

Aside from that, there is little to be said about today. I read mostly, though I did finally get the condolence cards written and addressed to the cousins about Uncle Vern. I have finished Children of Earth and Sky, the Guy Gavriel Kay novel I got at the Strand. That's about all I did today.

4. Not living in a war zone (reading Guy Gavriel Kay makes you appreciate that)
