Day in Manhattan again
Jul. 9th, 2016 10:45 pmWent in to Astor Place to Witchfest, a pagan street fair. Small but very interesting and fun. One of the interesting things were the protesters, of course conservative Christians holding signs. I watched them for quite awhile to see if I could figure them out. Stayed several hours at the fair, then went to Union Square and walked around there which is always interesting. The Kid called, which was nice, and we talked.
Then I went to The Strand bookstore, stopping at Forbidden Planet first because they're only a few doors apart so why not? I got The Rolling Stones by Heinlein, which is a really cute book.
Then I went to Starbucks and then I came back to Flushing where I ate dinner at Burger King and bought some milk for tomorrow. Andthen I came home.
Gratitude List:
1. Multiculturalism.
2. The Kid.
3. Didn't rain (it's pouring now)
4. Union Square.
5. Good books.
6. The Strand.
