Voted this morning

Got a bagel and coffee on the way. Went to work, nothing special. Went to my meeting, small but good.

Now being terrified about the election. Not looking good.

woke up to hear the situation and I feel sick - for America and for the world

I'm distraught but at least I'm no longer in a dead panic. Heartbroken but not suicidal. And I'm not going to stop doing what I think is right and speaking out when I hear or see something I believe to be wrong.

I haven't felt this bad since 9/11. It seems like the same sort of thing somehow, a triumph of hate and prejudice.
