Busy day

Well, sort of. I slept later than I should have but not as late as I frequently do, and then finished reading The Hanging Tree. It's a worthy addition to the series.

Then I got up and went to breakfast at Dunkin' Donuts. After that I went to the main part of Flushiing and got some toothpaste and hand soap from Duane Reed, and then went to get a new light bulb for the turtle light from Petland Discounts. But they didn't have what I wanted, so I walked back to Northern and around the corner to Northern Aquarium Pets and got a bulb there. Then I walked home from there since I was most of the way anyway, stopping at the discount stores on the way. So I got my exercise for the day.

The rest of the day was spent on-line, paying bills and puttering. I also gave the turtle more water and put in the new bulb.

Talked to The Kid which was nice. Nothing new there.

Have decided to go into Manhattan tomorrow to the Natural History Museum. Have invited mashfanficchick and Mandy to come too. We shall see.
