Another short-staffed day

silver_chipmunkWe have one staff member on berevement leave, one on FMLA leave, the boss is away for the weekend to a wedding, so you see how it goes. We made it through the day OK, but it dragged.
After work I did my usual Friday Boston Market dinner, with the addition of a free chocolate chip cookie because it's Rotisserie Chicken Day (I think they made that up...)mashfanficchick emailed me about it so I knew. I didn't eat it tonight because it was also free donut day at Dunkin' Donuts so after dinner I got a small hazelnut coffee and a donut. The cookie is in the fridge for tomorrow.
The FWiB called and we talked. And then it was time for my meeting, which turned out very well. Step six, became entirely willing for god to remove all our defects of character. I wish I could say I was totally willing but I hang on to them.
Anyway, came home and that's about all. It's hot in here. No time to set up the AC tonight but I may use the box fan.
