Humdrum day

silver_chipmunkWork was completely normal today, very quiet because there was no school so there were very few kids.
The FWiB called after and we had a good talk, broken up by twice having the call drop. Grrr.
Called The Kid but she and the SIL were totally wrapped up in watching the UK election results (for those who don't know, the SIL is British.) They are very pleased with how things were going, I hope it continues that way. Would make a pleasant change from the cluster-fuck we're living with here.
I just RSVPed for Sara's wedding. Looking forward to this a lot. I hope I can stay at the cottage for it rather than in town.
