silver_chipmunkGot up this morning, went down to the lobby in my pajamas and got a cup of coffee. Then I showered, dressed and packed, and went down and checked out. And spent the next hour hobnobbing with various cousins. Had a really nice conversation with Linda. And Laurie was sweet as honey and even sort of apologized for last year.
Then Lynn and Tom picked me up and we went to brinch. They picked up the tab, and we had a nice time. And as we were leaving the restaurant, I hear my name. Turn around and, yes, it's Denise, John, Brianne and Aunt Helen. Only in real life can this sort of thing happen, if you write it in fiction no one believes it.
Anywa, after the restaurant we went to a mall for awhile, to kill some time before my bus. Then they drove me to the terminal, with a detour through a cemetary, the famous one where Susan B Anthony is buried, and Fredrick Douglas too. We didn't see their graves, but it is beautiful, designed by wassisname Olmstead, the designer of Central Park. We did see a big old groundhog.
Anyway, we got to the terminal and I waited for the bus which left on time. Made several stops, including SCRANTON! And a stop for a mea at Burger King. I emailed the FWiB during the trip.
The Kid called me, and I filled her in on the wedding, and she told me they are now planning to move to Ireland in the future.
Anyway, when i got in, only a little late,mashfanficchick's mother picked me up, and I gave her my copies of mashfanficchick's keys. She had misplaced hers.
And then I got home, and all is well here, and I have to go to bed.
