Saturday work problems

silver_chipmunkWe were seriously short staffed today, we were suppsed to have three, which is already short, and one had a serious personal emergency. Her ceiling fell in. So obviously she didn't come in, so there were only two of us. We would have had to close from 12 to 1 in order for us to have lunch. But fortunately someone was found to come in and cover between 12 and 2 so we could have lunch and still have two people there.
I had sushi for lunch, cause nothing says "dodged the bullet of having to close an hour" like raw fish on rice.
After work I called the FWiB, but we didn't talk long because I met up withmashfanficchick and her mother at 20th Ave, and we went to Noodles and Company for dinner. After that, we went to Target and did some shopping.
Arisia has still not opened reservations in the overflow hotel. I contacted the con management as they said that it would be opening when the hotel corrected some typos in their page. Go figure.
I continue to hear from Barbara.
