Regular day

Not much at work to mention. I didn't have a program because it's Thursday, so I puttered around when i wasn't on the desk.

I'm reading the Jonathan Kellerman/Jesse Kellerman books Crime Scene, which I finished, and now I'm on the sequel, which I don't remember the title of. They are quite good, not as good as the Alex Delaware series, but quite good.

The FWiB's telephone was still not on, and the WiFi kept cutting out, but we did manage to keep in touch and I Skyped when I got home from work. He's doing well.

I tried calling mashfanficchick and she is sick again. Not sure what's wrong, but she said she'd call later which I assume means tomorrow. I'll call her back anyway.

Tomorrow is the day that my building's electricity is going to be off from 8 am til noon. I plan on sleeping late and going out for breakfast, because I'm free.

You may certainly ask. It stands for Friend With Benefits, which for anonymity is what I call the man I had a rather complicated thing with after my husband left me. We had a part time relationship (He's married but his wife knew and was OK with it) until for reasons beyond anyone's control, they moved to Ohio. Then complicated bad stuff happened, and he's now in a nursing home. But he's improved to the point where he will hopefully be moving out to assisted living soon. I went to visit him for a week back in the early summer. We keep in close contact through e-mail, phone, and Skype.

ah, that is great context thank you! glad to hear he's doing better and might have a better living situation soon.
