I finally did something I should have done long ago

I downloaded Skype to my phone. And I have tried it out and it works. So from now on despite the FWiB's lack of phone, I can contact him when I'm away from my computer.

Today was the day it was coldest here, not as bad as other parts of the country, but bad enough. I got to work unscathed. Nothing much interesting happened at work.

Came home and Skyped the FWiB on the computer, which I will continue to do from home, because the screen iis so much bigger.

And then I went and lay down in the bedroom, and convinced myself to try downloading the Skype for android phones. I tested it out by briefly Skyping the FWiB again, and as I say, it worked. I was a little worried that it might mess up the functioning of the phone as a phone, but I called Oldest Brother at the usual time and it worked fine.

So that is a big plus.

Tomorrow I am free from work. And also tomorrow I have to call about jury duty next week. Joy of joys.
