silver_chipmunkGot up and breakfasted and coffeed. Then Skyped the FWiB. We had talked for a nice time, when I got a phone call from mashfanficchick, saying she and MJ and her mother were going to Applebee's for lunch and then shopping at BJ's and Target, and did I want to come?
Of course I did, especially since I was out of yogurt for my lunches, so I showered and got ready, and they picked me up.
We had a fun time at Applebee's. By the time we left the snow had started, though very wet. We went to BJ's first, and I got my yogurt, and also some brie and some clementines. Then we went to Target, the snow was getting heavier. I got hand soap, crackers for the brie, and a cheap pair of earbuds to use with my phone when Skyping from it. And we overheard someone saying that NYC schools were closed tomorrow due to the snow.
Then we went back tomashfanficchick's apartment and hung out. I got the announcement that we're not closed tomorrow but do have delayed opening, which is why I'm up so late. And we ate dinner, and watched the first two episodes of Hawaii 5-O, the remake, not the original one. mashfanficchick wants to get me in to it. It's pretty good, I will probably watch some more.
Then I took a Lyft back here, and now need to go to bed soon. The snow is pretty heavy, I think they should have closed us totally, not just done delayed opening. But it's better than nothing.
