Productive day

silver_chipmunkGot up this morning and made it to the Saturday morning meeting which I usually miss. It was nice to be back. I made it to both the beginners meeting and the regular one. Someone came up to me and said it was good to see me because I had been at her first meeting.
After that I came home and Skyped the FWiB. We spoke for about an hour, which was very enjoyable.
Then I did something I should have done ages ago, and cleaned the turtle filter. The water was getting quite bad, but it's already clearing up now.
After that I worked on version 2 of the Kolchak essay. I hope this is more what he is looking for. I spent quite a few hours and finished it, though I haven't sent it yet. I did send it to Oldest Brother and the FWiB, and they liked it. I'm going to let it sit and see what I think in 24 hours before I send it.
After all that sitting at a keyboard I felt I should do something active, so I loaded up my laundry and took it down to the laundromat and dropped it off. I have been needing to do that for at least a week, there was 30 lbs of it!
Lay down and relaxed with Sybil for awhile, then made my dinner of mac and cheese, as a reward for doing stuff I needed to do. And called Oldest brother for out nightly call that I don't usually bother mentioning. He hasn't heard anything from John about a date for a group birthday party, which is annoying.
Speaking of not hearing anything, I textedmashfanficchick twice today and got no response. I hope everything is OK.
I still need to clean out my bathtub before I go to bed, it's a mess after cleaning the turtle filter.
