Staying overnight

silver_chipmunkAt mashfanficchick's apartment because tomorrow is Queens Pride.
At 4:30 this morning, while reading facebook after going to the bathroom, I discovered that Ben Aaronovitch has a new novella out, so to make sure I didn't forget about it in sleep, I turned on the light and downloaded it to my Nook right then. So looking forward to reading that soon.
Went back to sleep, got up on time and got to work early. Work was OK, though we were short staffed and I had to have lunch at 11.
After work I Skyped to the FWiB, but not for long because his coughing was really bad. He's going to have to go back to the doctor again. But aside from that all is well.
Got home and started packing to come tonight. Fed the cats and turtle, and got picked up bymashfanficchick and her mother. We went to BJ's, where I got yogurt and cheese and clementines and some other stuff. Then we went to Target and I ended up getting two Pride tee shirts.
Took my stuff back home, then came here. Ordered sushi, cause nothing says "Going to Pride" like Raw fish on rice.
And now we're watching a Mets game.
