silver_chipmunkWell after the morning, when I slept after having been up last night til 2-something reading.
But after I finally got up, I had breakfast and coffee, and then started to Skype the FWiB. Just as I was about to, the Kid called, about arrangements for Shannon's wedding in October. We are going to travel together, stay together, and go in on a rental car. Then they are going to drop me off on Sunday at the airport, and they are spending another two days in Georgia. So we went back and forth calling, and alternating that talking with the FWiB. Eventually I got an hour and a half with the FWiB, and spent $546.08 for the wedding arrangements, which doesn't include the car rental, oh well. I may have to dip into my savings this pay to cover my rent this month, but I can afford it.
Anyway, after that, or during it actually, I managed to get in a shower and dress, and got picked up bymashfanficchick and her mother, and we went to Eons for lunch. Then we were going to go to her father's office where she was going to use his computer for homework and I was going to read on my Nook, but she decided it would be uncomfortably hot, so instead we went out to Long Island, first to the Container Store, and then to Barnes and Noble.
I bought three books, the Jim Butcher steampunk book, the newly released Amelia Peabody mystery that Elizabeth Peters had started before she died, finished by Joan Hess, and a fantasy that looked interesting.
After the bookstore we went to Starbucks, where I left my phone behind but fortunately realized before we left, and when I went back in it was still there.
And that was the day.
