And Independence Day is over

I did very little. Ate at Dunkin' Donuts because I was out of cereal. Which is probably just as well cause my milk is iffy. I used it in my coffee but I wasn't thrilled with it.
I posted the drabble, as you see in the post below this, that was before I ate.
After I ate I came home and Skyped the FWiB for a good long time, two calls broken up by the cleaners coming to clean his room.
Then I spent most of the rest of the day puttering online. There were two things of interest, I got a facebook message from Nancy, she and her boyfriend got engaged, and they are having a celebration up at the cottage on August 17th, and if the Kid and I are there she invites us to come. Oldest Brother also, but he can't make it I know. But I may be able to. We'll see.
And I heard from the Kid, she texted. So that was nice.
Then I textedmashfanficchick to find out if they were going out to eat tonight, but they weren't, so I decided I'd have the leftovers from yesterday for dinner and watch the New York fireworks on TV. So that's what I did. I actually popped some popcorn to have too.
The fireworks were lovely, though as always they spent to much time showing the spectators. Not as bad as some years though, maybe they're learning.
And that was my 4th of July.
Gratitude List:
1. The FWiB.
2. Family, including but not limited to Oldest Brother and the Kid.
3. American independence.
4. Trump's parade got rained on.
5. Fireworks.
6. My drabble has been moving.
