Catching up

silver_chipmunkSo yesterday was the Third Eye Blind concert.
The day started though with a facebook reminder that it was my 9th "friendaversary" with Herschel. Of course we've known each other much longer than that but nine years on facebook. So I facebooked him the reminder and we had a brief chat on the way to work.
Got there and worked til 4, then left as I had arranged. Skyped the FWiB on the way to 20th ave where I metmashfanficchick, her mother and Dani. We did some brief shopping at Target and then mashfanficchick's mother dropped the three of us off at Jones beach Theater. The concert was a blast, I don't know Third Eye Blind very well but I thoroughly enjoyed the concert. Except for the rain, which eventually caused it to end early, and got us all totally soaked despite the ponchos we had bought at Target.
We goot picked up, and then drove Dani back to New Jersey. On the way back we stopped at a diner in Brooklyn that was very small, cheap, but tasty.
And then they dropped me here and I crawled into bed.
Slept til 1 or so in the afternoon, waking up occasionally to use the bathroom and check my e-mail and facebook on my phone. Got up finally and breakfasted.
Skyped the FWib, and talked for about an hour.
Finally lay down in the air conditioning in the bedroom and played solitaire tl it was time to go to my meeting.
Had pizza for dinner instead of Boston Market to save money and be speedy. Then went to the meeting, which was very good.
Came home, the bus was 18 or so minutes later than usual. But I finally got home, fed the cats and turtle, and here I am.

4. Air conditioning.
5. Music.
6. Nice weather today.
Edited to add: Forgot to mention I arranged in advance to have today off of work.
