Pretty good for a Monday

Made it to work on time despite oversleeping. Bought half-and-half and a honey bun from the bodega across the street from work before I went in. Went and read at the nursing home.

After work I Skyped the FWiB and went home and Skyped again from there.

And that's aboout the sum of the day. I ate the second one of my saved Carvel sundaes (I ate the first yesterday).

I'm starting to read the last Elizabeth Peters Amelia Peabody mystery. She was working on it when she died and Joan Hesse has finished it.

Just got off the phone after my nightly talk with Oldest Brother, nothing much of interest to report.

mashfanficchick texted me a twitter link to a headline: Rogue penguins ignore police and return to sushi shop." Is that great or what?

Is this the series set in the 1920s?

I think the penguins are awesome for doing that. Do you happen to have that link handy?

The series starts in the late 1800s, 1890s I think, or early 1900s, and goes to around the first world war. This one is set in 1912. It's the series that's all Egypt and archaeology. And very funny.

I don't have a link to the penguin story, sorry, but google turned it up pretty easily.
