Pretty bland day

silver_chipmunkI got to work early, went to the bodega and got a bottle of iced coffee and a honey bun. Came back to the branch and the boss let me in. I am warming to her a bit, she seems OK.
Work was quiet, nothing of interest.
After work I came home, detouring to the discount store for some milk, and some crackers. Came home and Skyped the FWiB. We talked a very long time, which is good since we shall be severely curtailed when he moves into the independent living place until they get their wifi installed.
After that i ate dinner and went into the bedroom for the air conditioning. Textedmashfanficchick and we are supposed to go shopping tomorrow.
Just called the Kid, but got no answer. Hope she calls me at some point.
I didn't sleep well last night so I'm looking forward to bed tonight.

2. Beautiful weather.

5. I have 101 items on my Nook now.
6. Flowers I pass on my way too and from the bus stop.
Edited to add: Forgot to say that I read the Ben Aaronovitch last night, that's one reason I'm short of sleep. I liked it, though not as much as some of his other stuff.
