Assorted good news

silver_chipmunkMade it to work early today, so that was good. mashfanficchick had her operation and all went well, another Good Thing. The Kid got offered a promotion at work, a very Good Thing. And Oldest Brother straightened out a problem he's been having on his computer, yet another Good Thing.
It was the first day of school so of course the kids were in, but not as bad as I was expecting. They left pretty early, too. So that wasn't so bad.
There have been pictures posted on the OOPA facebook group showing work proceeding on the abatement project, and also pictures showing the painting going on at my cottage.
Called and Skyped with the FWiB. One bad thing, I had a problem with my WiFi, but turning the router off and on took care of it.
So all in all it's been a pretty good day.
