silver_chipmunkSlept to a reasonable hour, got up, and, having no milk in the house, went out to Dunkin' Donuts for breakfast.
Came home and puttered on the computer, then went and lay down intending to read. But Sybil came and lay down on top of me so I spent about an hour dozing and cat-cuddling. Then I bestirred myself and did start reading. I finished Warbreaker. It was OK, not great, but OK.
Then it was time formashfanficchick and her mother to pick me up. We went to Ikea, and then to a seafood place for lunch. It was pretty good. After that we went to Target, and I got a new set of sheets.
Then we went back to her place, where she took a nap, I called the FWiB, and her mother watched the Mets game. After I got off the phone, I watched the Mets game too. *sigh* They are the Mets and that's all you can say. Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.
We had dessert there of berries and whipped cream, and chocolate chip cookies.
I heard from my SHarecon roommate, we have got a room with two beds now, which is a great relief.
And that's about all. Bed now.
