Getting ready for my trip

silver_chipmunkWas late for work today but it was only partly my fault. I missed the bus I usually get, but the next one didn't show up at all and the one after that was late. So I was quite late. I did the teen lounge, and that worked out quite well.
After work I Skyped the FWiB, and we talked til 20th ave where I met withmashfanficchick and her mother. They had picked up my dress, so that's OK.
We went to Carvel and then to Blaze Pizza for dinner, making stops at my place to drop off my dress and the ice cream in between, Also a CVS drugstore, where I bought a kitten calendar for the Kid for Christmas.
Then the Kid called me at Blaze, and I asked if I could call her back after, and that's what I did. She wants me to buy a necklace that she bought but doesn't want and doesn't know if she can return. She thinks I might like it, and I think I might do it. Also we talked about the plane trip on Friday.
Then I came home and packed pretty much everything that doesn't have to wait til right before. So that is done.
I tried to check into the flight but it's too early, have to wait til tomorrow.
Arranged to get a ride to the airport frommashfanficchick and her mom. That makes life easier.
