Up early again

silver_chipmunkBecause I had to go to a work meeting. Made it on time, actually early. It was, to be honest, not that interesting but I got two donuts and a cup of coffee out of it.
After that I went back to the branch and did the rest of the day. Did the Teen Lounge with the kids, got about 14.
After work I Skyped the FWiB, and we talkedon my way home. I was originally supposed to meetmashfanficchick and her motherat 20th Ave. but she called and changed it to meeting at my place. They were loaning a hand truck to the Kid because their's got stolen today! While they were there they were able to give the SIL and their snake Itzio (I may have misspelled that) a ride to their new apartment so Itzio didn't get chilled.
I got home and found that my copy of the new Ben Aaronovitch Rivers of London graphic novel had been delivered. We continued to Skype tilmashfanficchick and her mother picked me up, and then we went to Blaze for pizza, and then Carvel.
I got an e-mail from Aunt Helen. Some rather sad news. The Eschelman's (Cousins Diane and Bob, that I see in the summer up at the cottage) oldest son, Rob, died. Don't know what happened; there's going to be an autopsy. When I got home I called the Kid and told her, and I will tell Oldest Brother when he calls. A horrible thing; no parent should see a child die.
