Didn't get to Carvel

But had a very good evening anyway.

Made it to work on time, and worked. I did the Teen Lounge program, got a fair result.

mashfanficchick texted me to ask about carvel, and I asked if we could invite the Kid alng. So we did and she said yes.

So after wok I Skyped the FWiB, and got some very good news. He went to the oncologist today and he is officially in remission from the lymphoma. Excellent. And we talked til I got to 20th Ave where I met mashfanficchick and her mother.

Then we drove to the Kid's place, and got there just a bit before she got home. We went to Texas Roadhouse. Tasty as always.

Then we were going to drop the Kid off and go to Carvel, but mashfanficchick said she wasn't feeling well and could we drop her off first too, so we did, and then her mother and I dropped off the Kid, and by then it was too late for Carvel. Oh well.

So it was a really nice time, and good to see the Kid. She is dealing fairly well, working with the therapist and taking her meds.

And that's about all.
