silver_chipmunkMade it to work on time today, worked. Did the laptop program with the teens, got 11, which is good.
After work, the Kid texted me before I could Skype the FWiB. The SIL has been laid off from his job. So that considerably adds to the whole mess. He is working til the 31st, then has two weeks severance. Fortunately he has been putting out applications before this, and may have something lined up already. But it's a mess.
After we texted, I Skyped the FWiB and we had a good conversation. Nothing much new. I had dinner at Popeye's, the chicken sandwich again, with red beans and rice as a side. And i ordered a strawberry cheesecake pie for dessert but got apple instead. Oh well, it was good.
Then I went to my meeting which was small but good.
And now I
m home and waiting for Oldest Brother to call. The book I ordered for him for Christmas has arrived safely. Now the only thing on order still to be delivered is my penguin calendar.
So that was my day.
