Slept very late today

silver_chipmunkGot up and tossed on some clothes and went to Dunkin' Donuts for brunch. Came back and contacted mashfanficchick to see if she was doing anything today. She said call back in a couple of hours to see. I did that and she wasn't.
I also called the Kid to see if she wanted me to come over today. Ultimately she didn't.
I did an order for food on Shipt. I prefer doing my own shopping when I can get a ride frommashfanficchick, but Shipt works pretty well too. As long as you reach the $35 for free delivery (for those who don't know, you pay a yearly fee for Shipt).
Then the FWiB got home from what he had been doing in the morning and early afternoon, so we Skyped.
After we finished, I went into the bedroom to finish False Value, but found my Nook needed charging. So I came out and plugged it into the computer to charge. You can't, on my Nook, at least, read on it while it's charging that way (I've never charged it by plugging it in to the wall) so I was thinking that I'd have to wait, but then I remembered that every book you have on the Nook is also readable on the Barnes and Noble website in the "My Nook" area. I don't like reading on my computer as much as I like the Nook, but I really wanted to finish the book, so that's what I did.
After I finished it (and I loved it) I went and took a shower and washed and moussed my hair. It really needed it. After that I puttered online for awhile, til it was time for dinner.
After dinner I got back online, and that's when I discovered the Pete Buttigieg had dropped out of the presidential race. I have to admit, I'm startled, I had him pegged for staying in til the bitter end. He's the first candidate with serious support to drop out. I hear h's giving his support to Biden, which I'm not happy about. But we'll see what happens.
Went and lay down in my room for awhile, playing on my phone. And called the kid again to see how she was. And now I'm waiting for Oldest Brother to call.
