Day 43: Nothing much of note

silver_chipmunkA few things though. My moon and star bracelet came, and I'm wearing it now. So that's nice.
The vet called and Sybil's ashes are ready to be picked up. I'll have to see how I'm going to do that. Maybe a cab doing a round trip rather than an Uber and then another Uber back.
The cork came out of the bottle of wine I opened yesterday (because of the internal arrangement of my fridge I have no alternative to lying bottles on their sides) and I lost about a third of the bottle over the inside of the fridge. A pity cause I liked that wine. I drank the last of it after dinner tonight, watching the Thurber reading. Which is still the Years With Ross book, sadly.
Oldest Brother is fine, and ready to start work again. But he can't get hold of anyone at his main place of employment to tell him if they have any hours for him (they lost the contract on the place that was his main work location, on the same day that he went to the hospital). This is worrisome.
I spoke to the Kid today, she's doing OK. I Skyped the FWiB, for quite a long time, which was nice.
I did a training for work on google hangouts.
And I finally found out what was going on with the story I submitted for the Starsky and Hutch solstice calendar. It was accepted and all is well.
Last night I finished The Broken Kingdoms and downloaded the third book.
And that's all.
