Day 46: Some good news for once

silver_chipmunkStarted out the day as usual with coffee and breakfast. Puttered on-line and then Skyped the FWiB. We talked for about an hour, which is nice. Then I did something for work, another genre training, this time science fiction.
Then I called Oldest Brother and he gave me the good news, he finally, after all this time of trying, got through to the security company that's his mainstay of employment, and they have hours for him starting next week on Monday. Not as many hours as he had before, but maybe it can increase. So that's a big relief.
Aside from that the day unfolded normally. I called the Kid, and I calledmashfanficchick, but she was sleeping. She said she'd call me back, but hasn't yet.
Then I read, and called in Seamless for dinner. Got a delicious gyro from a different place then the last time, better I think. And a piece of baklava, which was OK, but not great.
Then I had my nightly glass of wine, and watched the Thurber reading. Still doing the Years With Ross book, alas.
Then I turned on Kenny and Tommy's All Request Jukebox, and I've been listening to that while I called Oldest Brother again. And that's the day.
Gratitude List:

3. Good dinner.
4. Good wine.
5. Good music.
6. Baklava.
