Day 84: Pretty blah day
Jun. 7th, 2020 10:32 pmDidn't do much of anything. Slept late-ish, had breakfast and coffee. Read my stuff on the computer. Went back to bed and dozed for awhile. The Kid had called me last night, after I posted in here, and we talked til fairly late, so maybe understandable.
Then Skyped the FWiB. Had a nice time as always. I did a Shipt order that will be delivered sometime tomorrow.
I finished reading Spinning Silver, which is extremely good, and then I tried to download some Mercedes Lackey novellas that are available on Kindle, but not apparently alas available from Barnes and Noble for Nook. I may download them to my computer at some point, I have the Kindle app, I just don't use it often because I prefer reading in bed, not on the laptop. I eventually preordered the next Valdemar novel which is due on Tuesday.
I watched the Thurber reading, he did one of my favorites, The Car We Had To Push, and also another chapter from The years With Ross, about the guy who embezzled a great deal of money from Ross. Apparently the case was famous at the time.
After that I waited for Older Brother to call, which he did, reminding me it was actually supposed to be me calling him. Oh well.
And that was the day.
Gratitude List:
1. The FWiB.
2. Macaroni and cheese for dinner.
3. My family.
4. Quiet day.
5. Shipt.
6. Bed soon.
