silver_chipmunkYa' know, in some ways it's harder working from home than going in to work. At least in my situation. But the day is finally over.
Oldest Brother called me this morning, he had some car trouble, the alternator. Fortunately the shop was able to fix it before he missed any work.
The Dresden Files book came, and also the Octopods I ordered from Etsy. I've already started reading the book, during lunch, and the Octopods are adorable.
After work the Kid called. She's still sad and depressed (and yes, in case I haven't said it here before, she is under treatment for depression.) I cheered her up as much as I could. Then I Skyped the FWiB. We had a nice talk.
After that it was almost time for my meeting. So I got ready for that, and tried to get in to the Zoom. There were problems. But we finally worked them out, and had two good meetings.
Then I had dinner, and then I went and continued reading the book. It's called Peace Talks, by the way.
Oldest Brother called, and we talked until he got an incoming call from John. So he took that, and then called me back after I fed the pets.
After I finished here I shall go and read some more.
Yesterday the crossposting worked after all. We'll see about today.
