Signed up for Hinge
Sep. 17th, 2020 10:26 pmThat's the big news of the day. I did bring it up to the FWiB first, but as I knew, he just wished me the best. So far seven guys have liked me, but I passed on all of them. We'll see what happens tomorrow.
Aside from that. I slept well, fortunately, and in fact slept rather late. Then I had breakfast and coffee, and puttered on the computer and with Hinge until the FWiB was ready to Skype.
After that I went and read the end of the Two Towers and got out The Return of the King but I haven't started it yet. I played solitaire for a long time, and then had dinner.
I called Middle Brother after that, he's doing well. And then I put on Kenny and Tommy's Live Jukebox. Listened to that til it was time to call Oldest Brother. He's not having any luck looking for a place to live and I'm worried. I fed the pets and after this I may call the Kid.
While I was talking to Oldest Brother I also did a quick search on Amazon and ebay for the edition of the Rootabaga Stories that I had as a kid, and found it, so I ordered that from Ebay. The nice thing is it benefited the Friends of the Lubbock Library. Nice.
But anyway, that's where things stand now.
Gratitude List:
1. The FWiB.
2. Good books.
3. Got some sleep.
4. Guys liked me.
5. Ebay was much cheaper than Amazon.
6. Benefiting libraries.
