silver_chipmunkI made phone calls. And phone calls. And phone calls. At least, that's what it felt like.
I started the day with a call from my therapist, which was helpful. Then I called Oldest Brother. He is unchanged. Then I had breakfast and coffee.
Then I made calls to all three of his employers to get them to fax the financial office with the info. There was a problem with one of them, but they worked it out. I called the social worker to give her the names of the other two rehabs. Hopefully he'll get into the closest one, if not, at last one of the three.
I ordered two Christmas presents, something formashfnficchick's mother, and something for the Kid.
I got a phone call from someone from the Saturday Al-anon group, to get my email to send me the Zoom address if the meeting.
I called the Kid to give her an update. I Skyped the FWiB.
I called the hospital to find out why I hadn't a doctors update for two days, and got told someone would call me back. No one did.
I called RK to discuss tomorrow, and I called Brian, the other guy still at the house, and he's going to let us in tomorrow.
Then there was nothing to do until my Al-anon meeting. So I relaxed and then tried calling Oldest brother again. He didn't answer, though I called multiple times and let it ring a good long time.
Had my first meeting by Zoom. Went very well. Called Oldest Brother again, this time he answered but of course I couldn't talk long because I had the second meeting. Went to the second meeting, also very good.
John Ivon called during the meeting. I called him back afterward, then had dinner. Then I called John and thenmashfanficchick.
Then I fed the pets, and here I am.
Tomorrow RK is picking me up between 10:30 and 11:00 and we set out to Plainview.
