Day to mostly relax

silver_chipmunkNot entirely though. I called the social worker at the rehab to talk to her about getting Oldest Brother on disability. She said I had to talk to the Medicaid officer, and had him call me. He was not helpful at all. But he did say he would contact social security and find out what could be done. I was proactive and e-mailed social security myself. So we shall see what comes of it. I may have to hire a lawyer.
Aside from that I did nothing all day but putter on line and play solitaire. Of course I Skyped the FWiB. He's doing fine.
And I called the Kid, still hoping to go ever to see her this week. She still feels under the weather though.
Also calledmashfanficchick to suggest that we Zoom for New Years Eve, and we are going to do that. I also wanted to pick her brain about what I could do about the disability situation, but she had no suggestions. She's going to look into it though.
Called Oldest Brother three times. He's doing about the same, maybe a little bit better.
Tomorrow I have to go to Flushing and deposit his last check in his account. It'll be the first time I go to Flushing for anything more involved then filling my Metrocard since the pandemic began.
