silver_chipmunk | Covid test

I got up this morning and went down to have my Covid test. I stood on line a LOOOOOOONG time, but finally got in and had the test. And was told to come back at 5:00 for the results.

I went to the deli across the street for a bacon, egg, and cheese on a roll.

I went home and ate it, and it was delicious. Then I did vaguely work-related stuff until 5:00. I also tried some stuff related to Oldest Brother.

Finally it was 5:00 and I went to get my results.

mashfanficchick called just before I left, and said I should call her when I got back, so that they could drop off Oldest Brother's presents. There was something of a feeding frenzy to get results, but I finally got mine. They were negative, of course, I had no reason to think otherwise.

Came home and called

mashfanficchick. And the Kid. Ended up getting in a fight with the Kid, but we made it up.

mashfanficchick arrived in the middle of it and I had to keep them waiting, but finally got the presents from them, and gave them the guitar to give the Kid.

Then I Skyped the FWiB, and that was very nice.

After that I had my Al-anon meeting by Zoom, which was also very nice.

Finally I had dinner, and called Oldest Brother.

The Kid and the FWiB are both watching election returns from Georgia. I can't do it. I fear the worst.

Caught up on mmy internet reading, and fed the pets.
