Back at work

First day of the 9-5 hours. Waking up was a real pain but getting out at 5:00 when it was still light was nice. The day itself was OK. John texted me that he turned in Oldest Brother's plates, so tomorrow i can try to cancel the insurance.

So when I got home the first thing I did was call Oldest Brother for the second time. Then I Skyped the FWiB. We didn't get to talk long though because at 7:00 I had the Union meeting.

The Union meeting was a muddled mess, to be honest. Didn't start till almost 20 after, so by the time they got to New Business, the interesting stuff, I had to leave to start the Al-anon meeting.

That went much better. Afterward I tried to get back into the Union meeting, but I couldn't, I guess it was over.

Went and had dinner, then called Oldest Brother again. Had a very good conversation with him, considering. I think he is doing much better.

Got to feed the pets in a few minutes, then to bed.

I'm jealous that you get out of work when it's still light out! By the time I get home, the sun is already starting to set.

It's still dark by the time I get home, but at least now I'm not waiting for the bus in the dark.

Good! Waiting for public transit in the dark sucks, especially in the winter. :)
