I am vaccinated!

silver_chipmunkStarted the day by failing to get out of bed for an hour after the alarm went off, which meant I couldn't get showered and dressed before my Al-anon meeting. But I had breakfast and coffee and called Oldest Brother, and then logged into the Zoom meeting.
That was good, and afterward I had enough time to shower and dress and still get out of the apartment by 1:00. So I trekked out to Brooklyn, this time taking the Q20 bus to the 7 train, to the N train to the Q train to the B100 bus. It didn't take as long as it sounds, I got there a little less than an hour early. The shot was painless pretty much. Only side effect I've had so far is a sore arm when I move it certain ways.
And then I turned around and trekked back. In Flushing I went to Popeye's and got a chicken sandwich combo with red beans and rice, and some chocolate things that I can't remember how to spell for dessert. While I was on my way home the Kid called, but I told her I'd call when i got home.
So I got home and Called Oldest Brother, and then the Kid, and finally Skyped the FWiB. Then I puttered on-line till 9:30 or so and then called Oldest Brother back to say good night.
Then I went to the bedroom, and calledmashfanficchick and had a nice talk with her. And then it was time to feed the pets so here I am.
Tomorrow we'll see how the second shot affects me.
