I did indeed spend the night at the Kid's place, which is why I didn't post here last night after the operation. So I'll catch up.

Got up at 9:00 and got ready. Used the special soap, packed everything that I hadn't packed the night before cause I had to use it. Then it was almost time for

mashfanficchick, zer mother, and the Kid to pick me up so I went and waited. They got me to the hospital a bit early, and the Kid and I went inand checked me in, Then she left. I waited till I was called, and then they took me in to preop and I got undressed and waited. Went through all the stuff, and they finally took me into the operating room.

I don't remember anything until it was over, and they asked me if I wanted something to drink. Coffee was an option so I had a cup of coffee while the anesthesia wore off. Somewhere in there I got dressed again and they took me out to where the Kid was waiting and took me to the car.

I have a special bra covering several different dressings, they did a biopsy on the lymph nodes and decided they didn't need to take them out, so I'm glad about that. I have a drain that I have to measure and empty twice a day, which is gross, but not too difficult. I called the FWiB, Oldest Brother, and Cousin laurie.

Once I got to the Kid's place we basically watched TV. Had sushi for dinner cause nothing says successful operation like raw fish on rice. Watched The Trial of the Chicago 7, which I'd never seen before. Very good. Was a fun evening.

Finally got to bed at 1:30. I slept on an air mattress in the living room.

I woke up in the morning at around 8:30, and couldn't get back to sleep. The Kid got up a bit before 10. I ordered breakfast for myself via Seam;ess, an onion bagel with lox and cream cheese and coffee.

Eventually [Bad username or unknown identity: mashfanficchick> and zer mother picked me up and took me home, stopping at the drugstore on the way for dressing materials. Got home and I Skyped the FWiB. Then I realized that I had left a bag in the car that had my cellphone charger in it. <lj user=]'s mother was nice enough to brong it over to me, and then I took a nap. Got a pgone call from the surgeon's office, they want me for an appointment on Friday at 10:30.

No meeting tonight because neither S nor M could make it, so I cancelled. Had the leftover sushi for dinner. (Two rolls). And the leftover ice cream from a few days ago.

Puttered around till it was time to call Oldest Brother for the third time. Then I called the Kid

And I think that covers it. I am stiff and achy and occasionally it really hurts under my left arm, but I'm OK.
