The day before my procedure

silver_chipmunkIt isn't really surgery, just a surgical procedure, inserting the port. So why am I so nervous about it, worse than I was over the actual surgery?
I go in at 9:00 tomorrow and the procedure is at 10:30. Right now I'm waiting formashfanficchick to call and tell me what time they're picking me up to get there. I can't eat after 11 and drink after 7 am.
The day was pretty quiet. I slept very late again. and didn't do much except putter on the computer, play solitaire on my phone, and this evening do a little reading I finished For the Wolf and have started my reread of Super Folks. I got a call from the financial dept. of the hospital, I owe a $150 copay for this.
I Skyped the FWiB of course, the connection was awful again.
For dinner I ate the burrito I got as a BOGO yesterday from Chipotle. It wasn't as good cold, but was still pretty good.
Called Oldest Brother and the Kid.
