Rough time at the blood test
First I had to call my PCP's office to get my referral faxed over. That wasn't fun. Then they had to try five times before they could get a good enough bleed from me for the blood test. The nurse tried twicw, and the doctor tried three times and finally got a good vein. Not fun and took a long time.
All this whilemashfanficchick and zer mother were waiting for me. After I got out, we had lunch at Popeye's. The Kid called me and we talked a bit. And I called Oldest Brother.
After Popeyes we went to Target, but nothing interestedmashfanficchick there (Ze was the one who who was shopping, I was just aboard for the fun) so we went to CVS to pick up some stuff and while we were there I got a rhinestone studded black durag to wear as an alternative head cover. I had seen them the last time I was there, before I lost my hair, and had wished I had bought one, so now I did.
Then we went to a different Target, and did our shopping there. I gave into temptation and got two shirts, another NASA tee shirt, and a leopard print tank top.
After that we went to Carvel. They still had the churro ice cream they had last time, it's very good. So I got that.
Then came home and before we parted we listened to the end of the Mets game on the radio. *sigh* They lost of course.
Came inside and called Oldest Brother. Then Skyped the FWiB for a few minutes. He looks much better than yesterday after his dental work!
I have to work 9:30 to 6 tomorrow cause we're having a staff meeting.
And that's about all.

But the shirts are indeed ice. Not sure what I'll do with the leopard print one, but I have to admit, I'm a sucker for leopard print anything.
