Peaceful Day

silver_chipmunkI slept late, got up around 12. Then I had breakfast and coffee, and puttered on line. I had to do something with my checkbook, so since I had to get my purse anyway, I finished cleaning it out. Then I paid my rent.
Skyped the FWiB, and we had a nice time. Then I girded my loins, so to speak, and cleaned the turtle tank, which is to say, changed the water and cleaned the filter. So much had evaporated that I put in twice as much as I took out in order to give her enough.
Then I relaxed for awhile, and put in a Shipt order. Then I started work again on the Starsky and Hutch story that I had started before Thanksgiving. I had wanted it for the Advent calendar but obviously that didn't happen. I think I have a better idea where it's going now, so maybe I can get it done for the SHarecon zine, which Flamingo told us about yesterday at the chat.
I had dinner at 8-ish. and then went into the bedroom to lie down and called Middle Brother. He's doing fine.
I played solitaire till it was time to call Oldest Brother for the third time, and then called the Kid. She had called earlier in the day too, so that was nice. While we were talking, my Shipt order arrived, so I got off to get that, and put it away.
Then I puttered on my phone till it was time to feed the pets. I made hot chocolate and ate the sugar coiokie from the penguin tin thatmashfanficchick gave me.
And that was my day. I shall go to bed and read after this. I'm still working on The cunning Man.
Oh, they posted in Dreamwidth abdout the crossposting issue, and it looks like there's nothing that can be done except wait it out and see if it gets better.
