Called out sick

silver_chipmunkI woke up this morning and after all the stress this week I just couldn't do it. And I misread the time and called in an hour late, which is weird no one called me to see where I was. But I said I massively overslept and didn't feel good, and called out sick.
So I managed to make my Saturday Al-anon meeting because it was on Zoom today, not in the park. So that's good.
I called Middle Brother's group home and made the arrangements for Thanksgiving. I called the Kid and made sure she'd be joining us. And I called the diner where we're going and made sure they would be open, and have a Thanksgiving special, and were wheelchair accessible.
Then I put in a Shipt order, and while I was waiting I took a shower and got dressed, and as soon as the order got here I put it away, and ordered an Uber and went to J's mother's wake.
That was pretty depressing but I'm glad I went for J's sake. I stayed for the whole thing, then Ubered back home. I called Oldest Brother for the second time, and then I Skyped the FWiB. We didn't talk as long as usual because it was late, but it was nice.
Then I called Oldest Brother for the third time, and had dinner. Then went and lay down and called the Kid. We talked a bit.

The turtle is still not eating. This is getting very bad.
