Nice day
Started oddly by someone ringing my doorbell, not the outside buzzer, but the actual doorbell, while I was still in bed. By the time I got decent and answered, no one was there. So that was weird.
Anyway, at that point I lay back down for a bit, then got up and showered and dressed, and went to my Al-anon meeting in Bowne Park, first getting a bacon, egg, and cheese on a roll, and a coffee from the bagel shop. I got to the park almost a half hour early, so I waited for people to show up. It was a very small group today.
After the meeting we went to the diner, yes, the same diner where we spent Thanksgiving. I had a toasted bagel with lox and cream cheese.
Then I got a ride home from L, and that was nice. And I went to the Starsky and Hutch episode watch and chat. We were watching the two part episode Murder on Voodoo Island, so I got to see a good chunk of the second part, which was nice. Then we chatted for quite a few hours. I paused for a bit and called Oldest Brpther for the second time.
Then after the chat was done, I Skyped the FWiB. We talked for a nice time, and then I got off and called Oldest Brother for the third time.
Then I had dinner, late, and called the Kid. She is doing OK> We talked for a bit, and then I calledmashfanficchick . We are probably getting together tomorrow, I hope.
The turtle tank is now warmed up to about 85 F but the turtle is still not eating. Still, it may take awhile, and she gets her last shot tomorrow, so we'll see how she does, and then if she still doesn't eat I'll take her back to the vet one way or another.
