Blood tests

silver_chipmunkStarted the day by oversleeping so I was seven minutes late to my Al-anon meeting. But the meeting was a good one so I'm glad I was there (it was by Zoom of course, not in the park). Then mashfanficchick and zer mother picked me up and we went to my blood tests.
I was a minute (literally) late because of traffic due to the Lunar New Year parade in Flushing, so I had to be taken as a walk-in, but I didn't have to wait too long. They took my blood and a urine sample. and it was all over.
Then we went to Gotta Getta Bagel for food and coffee. Then we went to Below Five for some stuff. That's a really fun store, I had never been before but I was charmed. After that we did some food shopping, and then went to zer place.
I called Oldest Brother three times as usual, and I called the Kid. All is well.
We hung out, and had dinner, and had fun.
Then they brought me back, and here I am.
Gratitude List:
1. The FWiB, didn't get to Skype but emailed.
2. Friends.
3. Got my blood tests successfully.
4. My meetings and the people there.
5. My cat.
6. The turtle continues to eat well.
Edited to add: Forgot to say, last night after I wrote in here I got invited out for coffee with <lj user="mashfanficchick" and zer mother. We went to a 7-11, and had a good time. Then home and bed.
