Got our vaccines

silver_chipmunkStayed up way late last night, to after 3. Then we all went to bed and slept fairly late this morning, though even with the Vornado fan we got yesterday and the other fans we had it was kind of warm.
Woke up and puttered on my phone, and called Oldest Brother. Then eventually got up and made myself coffee. We hung out for a couple of hours just playing on our phones and sharing interesting stuff we found. I called the Kid and talked to her a bit. We are going to visit her at the coffee shop on Wednesday.
Then we had brunch, bagels and cream cheese and lox. Very tasty.
Then I showered, and we all got ready to go out for our vaccines. We were late but it didn't matter. I got the Covid booster and the shingles vaccine, each in a different arm, Covid left, shingles right. So far no side effects. The shingles one hurt more than the Covid one, but they both feel fine now.
We went to Stop and Shop for some quick shopping. Then we went to Dunkin' Donuts/Baskin Robbins for ice cream because it was very hot and because we all just had gotten shots and deserved a treat. I got a waffle cone with a scoop of Pralines and Cream, and a scoop of Jamoca Almond Fudge.
They brought me home then and I Skyped the FWiB. Then I caught up in my internet reading and called Oldest Brother for the third time.mashfanficchick just called me, I left my night clothes, my orca shorts and a library tee shirt, over there. So I need to get those back Wednesday. We probably aren't going to see each other tomorrow because ze is expecting the vaccine to wipe zer out.
Anyway, that's about all.
