The con is over

silver_chipmunkToday was the last day of DC Slash. I meant to get up at 9 and be ready for the panel at 10 but I overslept and didn't get up till just before 10. I got up hurredly, got my Cheerios and coffee and made it to the panel by 10:08.
So I had to shower and get dressed beforemashfanficchick and zer mother got here, but they were a bit delayed so I managed it.
We went to Starbucks in Bay Terrace rather than Panera, to save money. It worked out pretty well. We went to Boston Market, which is next door, for lunch. We stayed through the Dead Dog panel (the traditional wrap up to a convention). It was an awful lot of fun, and I finally got into the DC Slash discord.
After that we decided to stay in Bay Terrace for dinner and went to Ben's Kosher Deli. Delicious pastrami sandwich. I called Middle Brother from there. He is fine. Went swimming Tuesday.
After that, since today was National Ice Cream Day, we went to Baskin and Robbins for dessert. I called Oldest Brother for the third time from there.
And then they brought me home and I Skyped the FWiB briefly.
Tomorrow I'm back to work. Tomorrow is also the 10th business day sincemashfanficchick's passport was denied, so ze should hear from them. If ze doesn't, it's back to calling the congresswoman's office, but time is short to get this fixed. We are starting to talk postponing till next year. Which sucks but does mean I'd get to the cottage at least.
