silver_chipmunkGot up at 6:30 and got ready to go. Got picked up by mashfanficchick and zer mother, and we made it to the train station by 9:55. They were already boarding, so I hurried on and found a good seat.
The trip was uneventful, I had lunch, a cheeseburger and diet soda.
Got to Buffalo right on time, had some trouble getting a cab but it all worked out very well. Expensive, but not as bad as renting a car wo9uld be if I could drive, so there's that.
Got to Topps and did some shopping, forgot some very basic things so I think I will try an Instacart order tomorrow and see if it works.
Got to the cottage, had trouble unlocking the door but the cab driver got it open for me. Then I had trouble getting the power on but I figured it out eventually.
Hooked into the borrowed WiFi, it works pretty good, though when I Skyped the FWiB the connection was bad. But we managed.
Called Oldest Brother three times, texted with the Kid.
And I am here!
