Slept till about 10:30 this morning, then called Oldest Brother, got up showered, dressed, and packed up my computer and waited for

mashfanficchick and zer mother. No breakfast or coffee of course, because fasting blood tests.

I got to the lab just in time, and got taken pretty quickly, so I was done pretty quickly. I hope the tests are done before my doctor's appointment on the 5th. It's cutting it pretty close, what with the holiday, but I figured that blood tests and urinalysis would have to be done while the samples were fresh, so it should be OK.

Anyway, after that we went to Panera, and I got coffee and a croissant for breakfast while we were waiting for

mashfanficchick who was on a phone call. Then when ze was done, we ordered lunch. Then we set to the serious business of planning our proposed trip to PA.

We were there several hours, and all is now planned out as much as we are planning anything. Then they brought mw home, stopping at Rite Aid on the way so I could pick up my prescriptions.

I called Oldest Brother for the second time, and then I called the Kid, wrongly thinking she was off today and would be out in the evening. We had a nice but short conversation but she was at the shop so I didn't talk long.

I finally got around to unpacking my suitcase from my vacation, and separating out the clean and dirty clothing. I got a big bag of laundry together, not everything that I have to wash, but a lot, and then lay down and scrolled Facebook, and otherwise fiddled on my phone for about an hour.

Then I got up and took the laundry down to the laundromat and dropped it off. Came back and started watching an episode of Good Omens 2, the third one. Was almost done when the FWiB Skyped me.

We talked for about an hour, and that was very nice. Then we got off and I called Oldest Brother for the third time. Then I finished the episode of Good Omens, and had the leftover of my sandwish from lunch for dinner, with decaf and Girl Scout cookies.

Fed the pets, and then started writing here. And that was a very nice day.
