Rain, rain, and more rain

It rained today. So much that the governor declared a state of emergency, and so did the mayor. And we cancelled the Al-anon meeting, and the library closed at 3:00. My feet were soaked and all of me was damp.

We got through the day till 3:00, and at 3:00 we closed in a hurry and got to go home.

I did manage to get through to the nursing station at Oldest Brother's nursing home, and she confirmed that yes, his [hone wasn't working. She got maintenance to look at it.

I got home and had some food, and then called Oldest Brother again, and got through. I don't know what they did to fix the phone but they didn't have to replace it this time. Which is a pleasant change.

Anyway, I went and drowsed in bed for awhile, not exactly asleep but not exactly awake, and then texted with the kid.

Then I puttered online, and had dinner, then finally at 8:00 I Skyped the FWiB. Had a good time. The library has delayed opening until 12 tomorrow, but I'm free so it doesn't apply to me.

Fed the pets, and here I am.
