Mixed bag of a day

silver_chipmunkI was late, but I may be able to get a verified traffic delay for it. We'll see tomorrow.
Had a one-on-one with the boss, not too bad, though she doesn't like my current display. Anyway, it'll be going down Wednesday and my Banned Books display will be going up.
Oldest Brother is still very disjointed in speech. All he says is "Yeah, ok" or "Yeah, uh huh" I don't know if he's understanding what I say or not. I wonder if he could have had another stroke. On the other hand, another UTI could be the issue. Or, on of his medications has a common side effect of confusion. I can't get through to nursing to ask them what's going on. I want to talk to the doctor.
On the more cheerful side of things I had a journaling program. and got two who actually wrote and took out banned books.
Came home and had a snack. and called Oldest brother for the second time, then I tried to call nursing, was on the hold music for eight minutes and gave up. I had dinner, and then went and picked up my laundry.
Came back, and Skyped the FWiB. We talked for a little over an hour. and then I called Oldest Brother again. I don't know what happened. I think he was talking (or saying yeah, uh huh) to an aide for awhile but he never got back to me so eventually I hung up. Then I tried nursing again to no avail.
Fed the pets and here I am.
